For us beer brewers, brewing beer with rare local hops is the happiest thing in the world.
We would like to pursue the creation of even more delicious beer while talking with hop growers. It is with this in mind that Hop Kotan Brewery was born. Kotan is an Ainu word meaning “village” or “hamlet,” and the name refers to the hop hamlet of Kamifurano in Hokkaido. Hoping that this country will become a place where people can enjoy beer more, we will deliver a wide variety of beers from Kotan to all over Japan.
